How can I place a print order with after hours creative?

How will I get the information about the delivery schedule?

We inform you of the details of the courier company and tracking number when the job is dispatched.

How does the Turn Around Time work?

Turn Around Time (TAT) starts from the date of approval and ends at the date of dispatch.

1 day TAT means, if the job is approved on Monday, the job will be shipped from After Hours Creative 1 business day later, i.e. on Tuesday.

2 days TAT means, if the job is approved on Monday, the job will be shipped from After Hours Creative 2 business days later, i.e. on Wednesday.

3 days TAT means, if the job is approved on Monday, the job will be shipped from After Hours Creative business days later, i.e. on Thursday.

4 days TAT means, if the job is approved on Monday, the job will be shipped from After Hours Creative 4 business days later, i.e. on Friday.

5 days TAT means, if the job is approved on Monday, the job will be shipped from After Hours Creative 5 business days later, i.e. on the following Monday.

Is there any cutoff time for placing the order each day?

a) In the case of PDF job, If a job is placed before 1pm and approved before 2PM of the same day, we process the job on that day. If no proof is required the cut off time for placing the order is 3PM. This does not apply to 1 day TAT jobs.

b) When no proof is required the order must be placed before 3PM. Again, this does not apply to 1 day TAT jobs.

What should be the format of the artwork?

The artwork should be in Press ready PDF (fonts embedded or outlined) format in CMYK with minimum 300dpi resolution. We process only in CMYK format. If there are any Spot colours in the artwork, it will be converted to CMYK. Files can also be supplied as a JPEG, EPS, PSD or WORD DOC.

What is Bleed?

We require Bleed to allow the tolerance of our guillotines (the machine used for cutting your job after printing). If any of the design finishes exactly at the edge of the required finished size, then without bleed, when the job is trimmed it causes slight white edges to the finished print. By extending the background colour or image beyond the edge of finished job, this defect can be rectified. We recommend that elements intended to go to the very edge of the finished job should extend 3mm beyond the edge.

Can you deliver the jobs with plain labels to a different address?

Yes. We can ship the jobs with plain labels without any After Hours Creative branding as per the request.
